Delta Sierra

POTSDAM: Potsdam native John North (Class of 2003) will perform with his band Delta Sierra at Maxfield's on Market Street, 10:30 p.m.; $5 cover; heavy and patient rock music with dense droning instrumentals centered around plaintive vocals with raw and direct lyrics; most obvious descendants of Neil Young and Crazy Horse and Magnolia Electric Co, Delta Sierra also call to mind the spirit of lyrical, guitar heavy bar bands such as The Hold Steady and Lucero.

‘Athena’ play
