St. Lawrence University’s Fitness Fall Session II runs Oct. 28 through Dec. 9

CANTON -- St. Lawrence University’s Fitness Fall Session II at the Stafford Fitness Center begins Oct. 28 and runs until the week of Dec. 9. Registration for a variety of classes is open now.

Fitness Center membership is not required to register for a class.

Classes are half price for students, faculty and staff.

Participants are asked to register before the first class in Fitness Center.

Walk-in fees for classes are $8 for hour-long sessions and $4 for 30 minute classes.

Cost for registration for a full session 6-week session are: 30-minute classes $30, 45- to 60-minute $60. Classes are held twice per week unless otherwise noted. All classes are held in the center’s multipurpose room unless noted.

Classes include:

Spin with Lisa Francey Towle, Tuesdays 8:30-9 a.m.

PiYo with Lisa Francey Towle, Tuesdays 9-9:30 a.m.

HIIT with Lisa Francey Towle, Thursdays 8:30-9 a.m. (No class on Nov. 7.)

Ballet/Barre with Lisa Francey Towle, Thursdays 9-9:30 a.m. (No class on Nov. 7.)

HIIT Your Best Body with Len Mackey, Tuesdays and Thursdays 12-1 p.m.

Yoga with Len Mackey, Tuesdays and Thursdays 1-2 p.m.

Sculpt and Burn with Dawn Taylor, Mondays and Wednesdays 12:10-12:50 p.m., and Tuesdays and Thursdays 5-6 p.m.

Yoga for Faculty and Staff at Noon Time with Ginger Sweeney, in Peterson Kermani Room Mondays and Wednesdays, 12:10-12:50 p.m.

SLU Cycle with student Tyler Sherwin, Tuesdays 6:30-7:15 p.m., and Thursdays 3:30-4:15 p.m.

SLU Cycle 30 Boot Camp 30 with Tyler Sherwin, Fridays 12-1 p.m.

Morning Cycling with Tyler Sherwin, free for SLU students on Saturdays at 9:30 a.m. First comers get a bike, $30 fee for faculty, staff and community to reserve a bike.

Cycle Strength with student Christine Tulikanga, Mondays and Wednesdays 5-6 p.m.

Strength and Toning for Beginners with Robin Durocher, Mondays 9:30-10:10 a.m., $3 fee.

Chair Yoga with Ginger Sweeney, Mondays 10:15-10:45 a.m., $2, and Wednesdays 9:30-10:30 a.m., $3.

Super Fit Seniors with Dawn Taylor, Fridays 9:30-10:30 a.m., $5 per class.

There will be no classes from Nov. 25-30 for Thanksgiving.
