CANTON – A safety and fitness talk for youth and parents will be presented by Frank Palumbo, a master black belt instructor of American Kang Duk Won Karate, at the St. Mary’s School open house, which begins at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26.
Parents and their children will have an opportunity to discuss family safety topics that focus on making good choices while involved in daily activities.
Topics will include anti-bullying, recognizing risky situations, reliable family and school communications, and involvement in fitness activities for improved confidence and focus.
Handout information related to these safety and fitness concepts will be available.
Palumbo offers self-defense and exercise classes for all ages are in Canton, Heuvelton, Madrid, and Norwood. For further details on new fall lessons, call 315-386-3029.
