WADDINGTON — Lena The Lizard Lady LLC will be on hand for the first ever free Family Fright Fest on Oct. 28 at the Donald M. Martin Civic Center from 12-5 p.m.
Hands-on activities with exotic animals. A costume contest for ages newborn to 18 years will be held from 3-4 p.m. with 3 cash prizes — $75, $50, $25.
There is a $2 entry fee per child for the contest. Silent and Chinese auctions, a 50/50 raffle, and a lottery tree raffle; food trucks, vendors, crafters, popcorn, cotton candy, a lemonade stand, a kids game lane, photo booths, face painting, sparkle tattoos, a henna artist, and a tarot card reader will be offered.
The Police Activities League (PAL) of Massena, a Waddington Fire Department truck, and a state police car will be on hand. The Sheriffs I.D. booth will be there for children to get I. D. cards.
