OGDENSBURG – A jamboree, Zumba class and craft fair to benefit Hope for Hope will be held Saturday, Nov. 6 at the Moose Lodge, corner of Crescent and Pickering streets.
Recently diagnosed with cancer, Hope Martin has been a bartender and a cook at the Ogdensburg Moose Lodge for many years.
Zumba registration is at 9:30 a.m. at the lodge and starts at 10 a.m. upstairs. The cost is $5.
The craft fair will begin at 1 p.m. upstairs.
The entertainment starts at 1 p.m. with host band The Charlton Brothers. Bands to follow include Denis Mchaffy and friends, Buckskins, Starlights, Smugglers, Acoustic Brothers, DJ Don Dictschweiler (Ditchy), Sue Ruput and Friends.
There will be food, a bake sale, 50/50 raffles throughout the day, auctions, drawings, a lottery tree and lots more. A $1,200 leather recliner will be auctioned off.
Donations can be made at the St. Lawrence Credit Union under the account "Hope for Hope." People may also donate returnable cans and bottles to the “Hope for Hope” account at the ARC in Ogdensburg.
