OGDENSBURG -- The Frederic Remington Art Museum, 303 Washington St., will open its doors free of charge to all Museum Day ticket-holders on Saturday, Sept. 21, as part of Smithsonian Magazine's 15th annual Museum Day.

The annual event allows museums, zoos and cultural centers from all 50 states to emulate the free admission policy at the Smithsonian Institution's Washington DC-based museums.

"Vistors to the Remington this Museum Day will enjoy visiting with the artists here for the opening reception of the International Juried Art Exhibit, as well as the Remington paintings freshly returned for a year long exhibit at the Sid Richardson Museum in Fort Worth, Texas," says Laura Foster, executive director.

Museum Day tickets will be available for download at Smithsonian.com/MuseumDay.

Visitors who present a Museum Day ticket will gain free entrance for two at participating venues on Sept. 21.

One ticket is permitted per email address. A list of participating museums can be found at Smithsonian.com/MuseumDay/Search.
