POTSDAM – Twenty businesses in Potsdam, including North Country This Week, were treated today, March 25, to free pizza thanks to the SeaComm Federal Credit Union.
Through SeaComm’s “Pay It Forward” promotion, 50 pizzas purchased at Little Italy in Potsdam were distributed by SeaComm employees to the area businesses.
The NCTW staff was surprised around 1 p.m. when four large pizzas were delivered by SeaComm employees Tyler LeBoeuf, SeaComm Marketing Manager; Craig Chevalier, SeaComm Business Loan Manager; and Tammy Anderson, SeaComm Marketing Specialist.
“It was a big surprise for both our staff and our stomachs. We enjoyed the pizza,” said Publisher Bill Shumway. “The SeaComm visit made our day.”
Food is a recurring theme and today featured pizza.
NCTW employees also received gifts including pizza cutters and personal journals.
SeaComm plans similar events in Canton and Ogdensburg later this year.
