MASSENA — SeaComm recently donated $50,000 to the American Legion Post 79 in Massena.
The funds will be used to provide repairs to the Veteran’s Memorial Park, which is located on Andrews Street.
“We are very pleased to support the extensive repairs that are needed for the Massena Veterans Memorial Park,“ states Scott A. Wilson, SeaComm President & Chief Executive Officer.
“We know our Veterans are owed a debt of gratitude, which is certainly impossible to match, however, the current Veteran’s Memorial Park is a testament of appreciation for what they have done in service of our Country. This $50,000, in partnership with the Village and others, will ensure that this park continues to be at the center of that sentiment,” he adds.
With help from donors like SeaComm, the park will honor local veterans for many years to come.
Renovations are scheduled to take place this fall.
