James A. Perkins, 59, Colton

COLTON -- Calling hours for James A. Perkins, 59, a resident of 74 Fuhr Road, Colton, will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at the Buck Funeral Home in Colton from 10 a.m. – 12 noon.

Burial will be held in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Colton at a later date.

Mr. Perkins passed away suddenly at his home on Tuesday, March 26, 2024.

James is survived by a sister, Mary Perkins-White, Gig Harbor, Washington; a brother, Mark and Terri Perkins, Arizona; and his nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews, Royce James Perkins, Los Angeles; Jayme Perkins, Alaska; Michael Perkins, Alaska; Lexus Perkins, Seattle and Elijah Perkins, Los Angeles. James is also survived by his extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

James was pre-deceased by his parents, Arthur and Theresa.

Born in Rochester, NY on August 17, 1964, to the late Arthur and Theresa Connelly Perkins, James graduated from Westhill Central School, Class of 1983.

James worked as a school bus driver in Colton, and in his free time he enjoyed photography, the outdoors, camping, boating and snowmobiling, but found his most enjoyment came from spending time with his family and his cat, Kitty.
