MASSENA -- The family of Catherine L. Plourde, age 13, are saddened to report her untimely passing at her family home on Friday, February 9, 2024.
The family has entrusted arrangements to the care and direction of the Phillips Memorial Home, Massena.
Family and friends are welcome to call the Phillips Memorial Home, located at 64 Andrews Street in Massena, NY, on Thursday, February 15, 2024, from 3:00 pm until time of services at 6:00 pm with Rev. Judy Van Kennen officiating.
Catherine was born to her loving parents, Joseph A. “Butch” Plourde and Linda Moller on April 12, 2010, in Massena.
She attended Massena School and was currently enrolled in Mrs. Goodrow's 8th grade special education class.
Catherine loved to swim and enjoyed watching her cartoons and spending time with her emotional support dog, “Sheba”. A little princess that could brighten any room with her smile.
Catherine is survived by her devoted father, Joseph A. “Butch” Plourde and his companion Charity Clark of Norfolk, NY, her mother Linda Bell and companion Christopher Michael Ray of Massena, NY.
Siblings Letashia and Andrew James of Rochester, NY, Justin, Steven Plourde both of Massena, NY, and sister Gege Wan of Texas., along with an uncle; Aaron Plourde and her aunt Daisy of Massena, NY, her Aunt Hillary Clark of Massena, NY, Aunt Brittany Bush of Waddington, NY, Uncle Christopher Clark of Massena, NY, Uncle Johnathan and Theresa Bush of Franklin, NC, and an Aunt Helen Moller of Bombay, NY.
Catherine also leaves behind her memory to be cherished by her parental grandmother, Doreen Plourde of Massena, NY, maternal Grandparents, Helen and James N. Moller, Jr. of Brasher falls, NY.
She is also survived by step-grandparents, Virginia Baker and companion Randy Jandrew of Massena, NY, and several cousins.
