OGDENSBURG -- There will be a celebration of life for Tonia (Deja) L. Carr at the Ogdensburg Moose Lodge on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 1:00 PM with a prayer service at 1:15 PM by Deacon Mark Lalonde.
Tonia passed away on March 28, 2024, in Amsterdam, NY.
Tonia was born in Ogdensburg, NY on February 12, 1977, to Larry Carr and Robin Tulip.
She attended Ogdensburg schools and took some courses at Mater Dei College. While in school she participated in soccer, basketball, cheerleading and figure skating.
Tonia is survived by her children, Cydnee Mee (David Larson) of Schenevus, NY and Logan Gaylord of Schenectady, NY, and grandchildren, Cylas, Eliana and Nora Larson. She is also survived by her parents, Larry Carr and Robin Tulip (David George); her sister, Erin (Michael) Ferris, grandparents Gerald and Marilyn Carr and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She leaves behind her best friend DJ Becker.
Tonia was predeceased by her sister, Brooke Williams and grandparents Robert and Eleanor Tulip.
Tonia enjoyed music, watching scary movies, DIY projects, thrifting and tending to her plants.
