In response to “An Ounce of Prevention Worth a Pound of Cure,” once again we get to read a misleading letter from Chris LaRose. It’s like clockwork every few months these false claims are made.
I will say the same thing I said the last time read this. Neither the Center for Disease Control nor the American Cancer Society agree with the statistics you have dug up
There is no proven correlation between abortion or oral contraceptives and an increased risk for cancer, in fact oral contraceptives have shown to reduce the risk of ovarian cancer by 50% over 5 years. If you have medical concerns, talk to your doctor.
Anyone can write anything here and just because he cites a book doesn’t mean the information is reliable.
It is unconscionable that you are using these fear mongering tactics to advance your moral and political views.
Women everywhere deserve an apology from you for the misleading information you have repeatedly had printed in this paper.
