CANTON -- The SUNY Canton College Foundation has raised a total of $30,000 during the first “Spring Ahead and Give Back” campaign, which ran from April 1 to June 30.
Money raised will benefit the Canton Fund, formerly known as the Annual Fund, which supports scholarships, campus enhancements, faculty and staff grants, alumni activities and more.
“Contributions help bridge a critical gap between state funding and the rising cost of education,” said Keith Rosser, acting vice president for advancement.
Rosser said the generosity of alumni and friends allows SUNY Canton to offer scholarships, grants and academic programs to current and incoming students.
“It is great to see such widespread participation from not just alumni, but faculty, staff, parents and community members,” he said.
