MADRID -- Hannah Grant of Madrid was crowned by outgoing Dairy Princess, Megan Parkman at the Annual Pageant on Saturday night, April 30.
Also competing were Emily McBath, who was named First Alternate, and Camryn Chester who was crowned as an alternate.
Knowledge of dairy products and practices were tested with an interview, a speech, and impromptu questions.
These young women, along with Ambassadors Josh Godbout and Isabelle Smith, will spend the next year making public appearances educating folks of all ages about the nutritional benefits of dairy consumption, while answering any questions about dairy farming.
The outgoing court of 2015-16 tallied a total of 129 event appearances to represent the importance of Agriculture in St Lawrence County.
