St. Lawrence County is looking at a rainy and warm Saturday giving way to a snowy and cold Sunday. Temperatures are expected to rise gradually through the week, according to the National Weather Service.

Saturday is predicted to come with temperatures getting as high as 41 degrees in Canton and Massena with a 90 percent chance of rain in all communities. Ogdensburg, Gouverneur, Potsdam and Star Lake could see snow.

Saturday night is expected to get down to around 6 degrees in all areas with a 60 percent chance of snow in Canton, Gouverneur and Potsdam. Massena and Ogdensburg are looking at 30 percent odds. Higher elevations are looking at 1 degree temperatures and 80 percent odds of snow.

Sunday is forecast to be breezy with temperatures around 16 degrees. Nighttime hours are predicted to be cold, around 2 degrees, with clearing skies.
