Village police say they charged Russell P. Snyder III, 22, of Potsdam with second-degree burglary and criminal mischief, both felonies.
On April 28, Snyder is accused of breaking into a home on Willow Street and causing extensive damage, police said.
He was charged Wednesday and arraigned in Potsdam Town Court by Justice James Mason and ordered held in lieu of $2,500 bail or $5,000 bond. Snyder was also ordered to submit to a mental health and chemical dependency evaluation, police said.
On Friday, Snyder accused of stabbing a person under the Sandstone Drive bridge. He was charged with with second-degree assault, second-degree menacing, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of marijuana.
