MORRISTOWN – A Potsdam man has been charged with helping his son in jail in Canton with violating an order of protection.
David M. Delosh, 56, 6 Mackay Rd., Potsdam was charged by St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies with a misdemeanor, fifth-degree conspiracy, after he allegedly placed a phone call Dec. 13 to the protected party on behalf of his son, Nicholas A. Delosh, 30.
That call constitutes a third-person communication in violation of an order issued by Morristown Judge James T. Phillips, Jr. on Dec. 9, deputies said.
The arrest is in connection with charges against Nicholas with aggravated criminal contempt, a felony.
David Delosh was issued an appearance ticket for arraignment in Morristown Town Court Jan. 26.
