OGDENSBURG -- Ogdensburg City Council is seeking volunteers interested in helping with a review of the city charter.
The council will appoint a twelve-member charter review commission, two people per the six election districts in the city, to review the city charter and provide recommendations to council for potential amendments. The charter review commission reviews the charter every 10-years, the last review was completed in 2007.
The Ogdensburg municipal code encompasses ordinances, laws, and procedures that are enacted and enforced by the city government. This document is accessible on the city of Ogdensburg’s website at www.ogdensburg.org, click on the municipal code button at the top left side of the home page.
