OGDENSBURG -- Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center recently honored Victoria Jennings as its volunteer of the year.
She volunteers at the Richard E. Winter Cancer Treatment Center.
Jennings gave almost 750 hours to the cancer center in 2014.
She has been a volunteer at CHMC for 5 years, volunteering both at the cancer center and in the Community Relations Department.
“She has been an invaluable asset to the volunteer program,” a statement from CHMC said.
Celebrating their 10-year anniversary of volunteer service were Frank Bondellio and Gloria Martin. Celebrating their 5-year anniversary of volunteer service were Victoria Jennings, Sharon Alford and Hilda Friot. Jennings, Virginia Blakely, Karl Smith, Barbara Barlow, Cheryl Fraser and Kaylynn Carkner were recognized for over 100 hours of volunteer service in 2014.
