MASSENA -- A Massena man was jailed Thursday following an incident in which he allegedly pointed a handgun at and threatened to shoot another person, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Tyler E. Provost, 22, was charged with second-degree menacing and endangering the welfare of a child, deputies said.
Deputies said they executed a search warrant at 429 South Main St. along with assistance from state police, U.S. Border Patrol, Homeland Security and Massena police officers.
Provost was taken into custody without incident, officers said.
He was arraigned by Judge Serguson and remanded to St. Lawrence County Jail on $5,000 bail or $10,000 bond.
Police said their investigation is still open.
