LISBON — Lisbon Central School announced the Class of 2024 Honors Group.

Seven students have earned a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 90 or higher and will be recognized this year.

Lisbon Central announces Class of 2024 Honors Group

LISBON — Lisbon Central School announced the Class of 2024 Honors Group.

Seven students have earned a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 90 or higher and will be recognized this year.

“Students in this group have taken challenging high school courses, and some have earned college credit through the AP Program, SUNY Potsdam, and Paul Smith's College,” a press release from the district said.

  • Addison VanTassel, daughter of Andrew and Lynnette VanTassel, has earned the highest GPA at Lisbon in the Class of 2024 with a 96.06. Ms. VanTassel earned college credit through the AP Program, Paul Smith’s College, Jefferson Community College, and SUNY Potsdam. Addison will be attending college in the fall where she will study Sports Analytics.
  • Leah Warren, daughter of Keith and Kara Warren, is ranked second in the class with a 94.93 GPA. Ms. Warren earned college credit through the AP Program, Paul Smith’s College, North Country Community College, and SUNY Potsdam. Leah will be attending SUNY Plattsburgh in the fall, where she will study Adolescence Education: Biology.
  • Jadyn Rolfe, daughter of Randy and Mellisa Rolfe, is ranked third in the class with a 94.20 GPA. Ms. Rolfe earned college credit through the AP Program, Paul Smith’s College, Jefferson Community College, and SUNY Potsdam. Jadyn will be attending SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in the fall, where she will study Wildlife Science.
  • Connor Flack, son of Alan and Melanie Flack, is ranked fourth in the class with a 92.88 GPA. Mr. Flack earned college credit through Paul Smith’s College, North Country Community College, and SUNY Potsdam. Connor will be attending SUNY Canton in the fall where he will study Liberal Arts.
  • Ava Bouchey, daughter of Beth and James Snyder and Larry and Lindsey Bouchey, is ranked fifth in the class with a 91.65 GPA. Ms. Bouchey earned college credit through the AP Program, Paul Smith’s College, SUNY Potsdam, and North Country Community College. Ava will be attending Monroe Community College in the fall, where she will study Radiologic Technology.
  • Truman Gendebien, son of Blake and Carmen Gendebien, is ranked sixth in the class with a 91.62 GPA. Mr. Gendebien earned college credit through the AP Program, Paul Smith’s College, and SUNY Potsdam. Truman will be attending St. Lawrence University in the fall where he will study Psychology.
  • Connor Bell, son of Jason and Cristy Bell, is ranked seventh in the class with a 91.36 GPA. Connor will be attending Montevallo University in the fall, where he will study Business Marketing.
