MASSENA -- The Massena Central School board on Tuesday accepted a retirement and a leave of absence, as well as appointed a substitute.
The board decided to name Deborah Croff as a districtwide support staff substitute effective Sept. 1 for either $9.70 or $10.16 per hour.
The board approved a medical leave for Madison Elementary nurse Mary Jo O’Geen from May 9 to June 30.
The board also okayed Jefferson Elementary teacher Beth Ann Bogdovitz’s retirement effective June 30 for personal reasons, according to a spreadsheet from the district.
The board voted 6-0 on the personnel actions. Trustees John Boyce, Ron Faucher and Jason Premo were not at the meeting.
