MADRID -- The Madrid Fire District will accept bids for an addition to their firehouse on Aug. 22.
They are looking for a firm to build a new bay for four fire vehicles, a single-story connector that will include a restroom, office, storage area and mechanical room, and improvements to the existing fire station.
The project is broken down into four separate bids - general construction, mechanical, plumbing and electrical.
Sealed bids will be accepted Aug. 22 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the fire station, 10 Church St., Madrid.
Plans and specifications are available at Tisdel Associates Consulting Engineers, 113 Main St., Canton.
