The St. Lawrence University men's basketball team lost 91-62 to Brockport in Saturday's non-conference game in Brockport, NY. The Saints fall to 2-7 on the season, while the Eagles improve to 6-4.
St. Lawrence maintained a 14-13 lead at the 11:04 mark, but Brockport allowed just 11 points for the remainder of the half and took a 41-25 lead at intermission. The Eagles continued their solid defensive effort, forcing 15 of the Saints 26 turnovers in the second half en route to the 91-62 victory.
Sophomore Brady Condlin led the Saints with 22 points, including a perfect 12-of-12 from the free throw line and seven rebounds. Senior captain Kyle Miller added 14 points and seven rebounds, while junior Janpeter Brase and first-year student Leondre Simmon combined for 14 points and 12 rebounds.
The Saints will look to snap a four-game losing streak as they open Liberty League play against Skidmore on January 8th in the Burkman Gymnasium. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:00 pm.
