To the Editor:
I would just like to say a huge thank you to the gentleman working at McDonalds on Thursday afternoon, Feb. 18, around 2:30 p.m.
He went above and beyond his duties by helping me enter and exit the McDonalds, as well as, getting in my vehicle.
Everyone realizes how hard it is to get from one place to another with all of the ice we have received. It is even more difficult when using a power wheelchair.
I was able to exit my vehicle, via my ramp, and enter the McDonalds for lunch but coming out I was not able to get back in my vehicle due to uneven ice buildup on the pavement.
This gentleman made sure I made it into the restaurant and, then, unbeknownst to me watched for me when I left the restaurant and helped chip ice so that I could get back in my car!
Thank you for caring and going above and beyond your duties!
I am sorry that I didn't think to get your name but I hope you, or someone you work, with reads this!
Thank you!
