OGDENSBURG -- This year for Mothers Day, St. Lawrence County Reality Check will be handing out free movie tickets to moms and the first 100 people at the Ogdensburg Cinema this Sunday, May 13 2012 at the 1:30 p.m. matinee of Three Stooges, rated PG.
Mother’s Day is a day to celebrate moms for who they are and all of the wonderful things they do. It is also a great time for moms to remember the important role they play in influencing the choices their kids make regarding tobacco use.
Movies have a big impact on how kids think about tobacco, but moms have a bigger impact on what should or should NOT be in the movies kids see.
After the free seats are gone, tickets are $5 per person.
Reality Check would like to thank moms for helping them de-normalize and de-glamorize tobacco in youth rated movies.
