CANTON -- Prescreening of PBS's "American Experience: Boys of '36," based on the book "Boys in the Boat" by Daniel James Brown, is at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 26 in the Winston Room/Sullivan Student Center, St. Lawrence University, sponsored by the Grateful Oars Rowing Club.
Admission is free.
The film tells the story of nine working-class young men from the University of Washington who took the rowing world and America by storm when they captured the gold medal at the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin.
