Gouverneur grad marries

Tiffany Briant and Richard Carter of Natural Bridge were married in a July 7 ceremony in Fowler.

The bride is the daughter of Gary and Marlene Raap of Fowler and the late Mike Holly.

The groom is the son of Richard Carter Sr. of LaFargeville and Darlene Countryman of Philadelphia, N.Y.

The wedding was at the Fowler Rod n Gun Club, performed by Tim Cryderman Jr. with many friends and family in attendance.

The bride's parents gave her in marriage.

Maids of honor were Brittany Littlepage and Allison Shrewsberry. Other attendants were Samantha Briant, the bride's sister; Shady Yerdon, Rachel Hooley and Nicole Richards. Junuior bridesmaid was Gabrielle Carter, the groom's sister.

The best man was Ricky Countryman. Groomsmen were Brandon Arnold and Cody Campbell, the groom's cousins; Tim Cramer, Jordan Carter, the groom's brother, and in loving memory of Ryan Carter, the groom's late brother.

Ringbearer was Grason Delosh, the couple's nephew.

DJ Ron entertained the reception, which was also at the Rod n Gun Club.

The bride is a 2012 Gouverneur Central graduate. She studied human services at OCC and SUNY Canton. She works as an MSS II at AmeriCu in Watertown.

The groom is a 2012 LaGargeville graduate. He works as a meat cutter at the Fort Drum commissary.

The bride will now use the name Tiffany Carter.
