OGDENSBURG – Whether you’re a fan of the Bills, Giants, Jets, Patriots, Steelers or Eagles, United Helpers is in the midst of a fundraiser aiming to put you right in the middle of the action.

One lucky winner will receive two tickets to a week two through 10 home game of their choice featuring one of the above six teams. Not a fan of a local team? That’s OK too. Match-ups you may choose from include games against the Cowboys, Dolphins, Seahawks, Bengals, Commanders, Texans. Falcons, Browns and Chargers.

Tickets for this one-of-a-kind drawing will be $10 each. Bundles are also available with three tickets for $25 or seven tickets for $50.

“Last year United Helpers went bananas and sent one local family to see the Savannah Bananas in Syracuse. This year we wanted to up the ante and create a fundraiser that would attract interest from our friends and family all over the northeast,” said United Helpers Marketing Manager Benny Fairchild. “The winner of this drawing will have a very tough decision to make when they decide which game they want tickets for.”

Premium match-ups include Monday Night Football contests between the Bills and Jaguars, Eagles and Falcons, Steelers and Giants, or Jets and Bills. A special Halloween night game pitting the Jets against the Titans is also available.

“The winner of this drawing will receive two tickets valued at up to $400,” said Assistant Director of Corporate Services Jordan Downing-Duke. “The only reason we limited the contest to the first 10 weeks of the season is we wanted to ensure whoever wins these tickets could travel safely to the game of their choice. It’s no secret that the North Country winters can be brutal and we never know when snow or ice will decide to make an appearance.”

Tickets will be available online at https://secure.qgiv.com/for/footballraffle/event/footballdrawing/. Tickets will also be available for sale at this year’s St. Lawrence County Fair. Tickets may be purchased in person (cash only) at the United Helpers BHLS complex, 100 Ford Street in Ogdensburg, Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm.

“We will be present at the fair each day selling tickets and we’re hoping to attend some other community events too,” Mrs. Downing-Duke said, adding it is also possible that you will see United Helpers volunteers selling tickets out in the community.

Only 1,000 tickets will be printed, with sales continuing until all tickets are sold or 11:59 pm on Tuesday, Sept. 3. The drawing will be held on Thursday, Sept. 5, the opening day of this year’s NFL season and broadcast on the United Helpers Facebook page.

The winner of the prize will receive two tickets to the game of their choice. Transportation, meals and lodging are not included.
