CANTON – The Unitarian Universalist Church in Canton serving the North Country community will host two workshops to introduce the Unitarian Universalist faith, “UU 101 - Growing Our Faith,” Tuesday, Dec. 3, 7-8:30 p.m. and “UU 101 - History and Governance,” Wednesday, Dec. 11, 7-8:30 p.m.
UU 101 is an introductory course to Unitarian Universalism (UU) that teaches community members about the history, theology, structure, and identity of the UU movement.
The topics covered will include the history of Universalism, the identity of a Unitarian Universalist, and how the UU church functions. UU 101 is intended for people who are considering becoming members of the UU church or who have recently joined.
The workshops will be hosted in the Romer Room of the Church. There is a parking lot and entrance through the back of the building.
