GOUVERNEUR — Two Gouverneur residents were charged Jan. 2 with burglary stemming from an incident on West Main Street, according to village police.
Amy Beth Dustin, 41, and Archie A. McIntosh II, 21, were charged with second-degree burglary, felony, third-degree criminal mischief, felony and fourth-degree conspiracy, officers said.
The subjects entered 198 West Main St. by allegedly damaging the lock, door and door casing with a co-defendant totally to $756.29 in damages.
McIntosh was reportedly arraigned in Gouverneur Town Court before Judge Stan Young and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility on $2,500 bail.
Dustin was released under the supervision of probation, police said.
