To the Editor:

It's the human heart that's at the very root of all this trouble…. It's a flawed heart…. It's a heart that desires the “high” standard of living at the expense of so much harm to The EARTH.

It's a heart multiplied and compounded by H sapiens’ billions…. A flawed species…. O! H sapiens….. Yours are the teeming masses with hearts driven by greed.

O! H sapiens…. Why can't you see that it's all those greedy hearts that drove industrialization…. That fathered the climate crisis…. Fathered extinctions and worsening prospects for all of your Fellow Living Things?

O! H sapiens…. Why are you so blind?

Why can't you see that your technological changes to make your energy uses less harmful will do nothing whatsoever to fix your flawed heart? The EARTH-Aware Reality here is that you, H sapiens, have been living at a harmful level of consumption for many centuries now

It's your insatiable greed for living at the “high” standard of living that's causing all this harm

The economic development that you use to satisfy your greed must come to be seen for the harmful thing that it is…. Rampaging economic development is a pox on The Face of The EARTH"
