FOWLER -- Three people were jailed on drug charges following a traffic stop Thursday on State Highway 58, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies.
Thomas R. Love, 55, Gouverneur, was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felony, open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and no seat belt, deputies said
John J. Crook, 41, Gouverneur, was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felony, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, officers said.
Paul L. Allan, 45, Aylett, Virgina, was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felony, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and failure to signal, deputies said.
Deputies, assisted by state troopers, reportedly found about 26 grams of methamphetamine and around $2,550 during a search following the traffic stop.
All three men were arraigned by Judge Young and remanded to St. Lawrence County jail without bail, officers said.
Deputies were assisted by troopers, U.S. Border Patrol and the St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force.
