To the Editor:

I finally had a chance to write and say Thank you to Watertown Daily Times, North Country Now This Week, and many Radio stations that advertised our 13th Annual Mtn. Warriors Sled(ge) Hockey Tourney at Terry Martin Arena at SUNY Canton. 

The results of the three day Tourney are Durham(Toronto)-1st place, Buffalo-2nd, Ottawa-3rd, Kingston-4th, Ft. Drum & Syracuse tied for 5th place. Everyone was a winner, there were no losers. First, I would like to thank SUNY Canton and all the staff (Randy, Pat, Matt, Brian O, Clayton, Chris), all the referees and especially (Scott Toth) and Eric Duchscherer, and Terry Martin for dropping the ceremonial puck at the first game and the championship game.

I would also like to thank the following; VFW Post 1231 Color Guard (Randy Burke, Dave Dox, John Coffee, Kevin Tupper, Dave Pearson), Board Members; Kellie Hitchman, Jason Tracy, Chad Green, Zach  M. and new member Terry Martin. Thanks to Colin Hostetter, and Kolby Weaver, the SUNY Canton students (Jake, Anna, Desere ).
