St. Lawrence County is under a travel advisory.
The St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Office said residents and travelers should be aware the winter weather advisory will be in effect until 10 p.m. tonight.
Temperatures are currently in the high teens with snow expected today, making roads slick.
Winds are around 20 mph, with gusts up to 30 mph.
Snow accumulation is expected to be 2-4 inches throughout the county.
Snow showers will persist throughout today, with high temperatures near 34 degrees and lows dropping to the mid-teens.
Drivers should be prepared for reduced visibility and snow covered road conditions, according to the office.
