Local students honored include Kayly-Jaye Belmore, majoring in Physical Education K-12 and Kerisa Burns, majoring in Political Science, both from Norwood; Ashton Bowman, of Gouverneur, majoring in Exercise Science; Faith Christy, majoring in Sport Management, Jack Filiatrault, majoring in Sport Management, and Zakaria Moumen, majoring in Exercise Science, all from Canton; Oliver Higgens, majoring in Physical Education K-12, and Grace Mattimore, majoring in Speech & Hearing Science, both from Potsdam; Emma Lalone, of Ogdensburg, majoring in Early Childhood and Childhood Education B-6; Chyler Richards, of Norfolk, majoring in Strength Condition for HP; Elizabeth Rogers, majoring in Exercise Science, Ty Lucey, majoring in Outdoor Recreation, Delaney McCarthy, majoring in Early Childhood and Childhood Education B-6, and Payton Puente, majoring in Economics, all from Massena.
The Dean's List is the highest ranking for undergraduate students in their respective academic areas of the university. Students must earn a minimum 3.3 grade point average for the semester to make the list.
