Several St. Lawrence County residents were recognized as high academic achievers on the President’s List and Dean’s List for the fall 2024 semester at SUNY Oswego.

President's List students are those attaining semester grade-point averages of 3.8 or higher while carrying required academic credits. 

Local students on the President’s List include Claire F. Knowlton, Gouverneur, majoring in cinema and screen studies, public relations; Cassidy J. Phippen, Potsdam, adolescence education; and Rachel V. Proper, Massena, biology.

Dean’s' List students are those attaining semester grade-point averages between 3.3 and 3.79 while carrying required academic credits. 

Students on the Deans’ List include Thomas A. Cafarella, Norwood, broadcasting and mass communication; Gracelind R. Ferris, Ogdensburg, business administration, Elyse M. Hoxie, Norfolk, childhood education, Ava Johnson, Ogdensburg, finance, and Susan M. Pierce, Canton, interaction design, cinema and screen studies.
