CANTON -- The St. Lawrence County Office for the Aging is sponsoring the 11th Annual Santa for Seniors & Holiday Gift Drive for Senior Citizens to benefit older adults enrolled in the home delivered meal program.

From now until mid-December, the office will be collecting gift cards to local businesses such as grocery stores, pharmacies, big box retailers and other general stores. The office is also collecting financial contributions to purchase gift cards and/or gift baskets for clients who are most in need.

The holidays can be a very lonely time for seniors in the county. Many of them do not have family or friends nearby to celebrate the holidays with. Consider adopting a local senior and help us spread a little festive cheer to our most vulnerable older adults.
