OGDENSBURG -- A St. Lawrence County man in jail on attempted murder charges from this past summer has been charged while incarcerated, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies.
Ryan J. Joanette, 36, formerly of Ogdensburg, was charged with promoting prison contraband stemming from a complaint made to deputies in August of 2022, officers said.
He was allegedly in possession of Suboxone while confined in the county jail.
Joanette was cited and will face the charge in Hermon court at a later date.
