A snowmobile poker run, craft fair, tournaments, and a variety of family activities were among the many events at the Tri-Town Winter Carnival Friday and Saturday, Feb. 14 and 15.
Other events in Brasher, Winthrop and Lawrence included a parade, book sale, longest icicle and snow sculpture contests.
The craft fair with 60 vendors drew several hundred people to St. Lawrence Central School, along with several kid zone activities held at the school.
However, the snowstorm cancelled some of the remaining weekend activities, including the fireworks, rescheduled before St. Patrick's Day weekend, March 15. The rescheduling of the North Lawrence and Lawrenceville Fire Department's events are being discussed.
