A strong storm rolled through Hannawa Falls early Sunday evening dropping part of a tree on Helping Hands Food Pantry, minor damage occurred. Thanks goes out to board members and locals for lending a helping hand to get it removed. Photo submitted by Tamie Sauve.

Brett Miller, who lives on West Parishville Road, snapped photos of the aftermath of a nasty storm that hit the area around 5 p.m. Sunday. The storm knocked down many trees. Parishville Volunteer Fire Deptartment members were kept busy clearing roads, and National Grid crews worked to restore power to thousands of customers across the region. Miller said his neighbors Larry Ashley and Romie Clothier assisted in the cleanup with tractors. In nearby Hannawa Falls, trees landed on multiple homes.
