Norwood's annual Independence Day parade took place Friday afternoon, starting on Maple Street and winding its way through the village before ending at the Firemen’s Field.
The festive procession featured colorful floats from local businesses and community groups, along with a return performance by the Brockville Pipes and Drums Band from Canada.
Spectators lined the streets to cheer on participants and enjoy the patriotic celebration.
Following the parade, food and refreshments were available at the Firemen’s Field, along with a demolition derby. North Country Now photos by Ashley Schiavone.
