POTSDAM -- SLC Arts will host meetings of a figure drawing guild on Dec. 12, and Jan. 9 and 23 at SLC Arts Creative Spirit Community Arts Center, 6-8 Raymond St.
A figure drawing guild is a community of artists who come together to hone their skills by drawing live models.
These gatherings are typically open to artists of all skill levels, providing an opportunity to practice anatomy, proportion, and creative interpretation.
Sessions are often informal, with short warm-up poses and longer sittings, allowing participants to experiment with different techniques and mediums.
Whether you're a seasoned professional or a beginner looking to improve, a figure drawing guild offers a supportive environment to grow and connect with fellow artists.
There will be new models in the new year.
These sessions will feature a live, nude model, which is not suitable for all audiences.
Registrants must be ages 18+.
Signup at https://slc-arts-council.myshopify.com/products/figure-drawing. $10 each.
