Six sent to county jail on drug charges after traffic stop in Massena

MASSENA – Six out-of-St. Lawrence County people were remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility without bail on drug charges following a traffic stop Friday, Oct. 25 in the Town of Massena.

Troop B-Violent Gangs and Narcotics Enforcement Team charged numerous individuals related to a traffic stop on Route 37 by New York State Troopers at approximately 10:16 a.m., During the traffic stop, approximately 76 grams of methamphetamine, 27 grams of cocaine, and 4 grams of fentanyl were seized, along with, an illegal switchblade knife, scales and baggies.

Arrested and charged were:

Kaitlyn D. Timmons, 29, of Peru,  – Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd (A-II Felony), 3 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd (B-Felonies), Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th (C Felony) and 2 counts of Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia.

Junaid A. Khan, 26, of Dover, Delaware – Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd (A-II Felony), 3 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd (B-Felonies), Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th (C Felony), 2 counts of Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia, as well as NYS VTL 1120a (Failure to keep right) and NYS VTL 375-30 (Obstructed vision).

Tamara S. Winters, 28, of Plattsburgh, – Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd (A-II Felony), 3 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd (B-Felonies), 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th (C Felony), 2 counts of Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th, and Public Health Law 3345 (Non. Original. Container).

Tiana L. Marshall, 30, of North Bangor, – Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd (A-II Felony),  3 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd (B-Felonies), Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th, and 2 counts of Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia.

William L. Tomas, 24, homeless – Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd (A-II Felony), 3 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd (B-Felonies), Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th, and 2 counts of Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia.  Tomas was also charged as a Fugitive From Justice, as he was found to have an active warrant out of the state of New Jersey.

Jeyson Infante, age 26, of Greenville, North Carolina  - Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd (A-II Felony), 3 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd (B-Felonies), Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th, 2 counts of Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd.  

All individuals were arraigned at the town of Massena Court and remanded to the county jail.

State police were assisted by the village of Massena Police Department and St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department.
