OGDENSBURG — SeaComm recently paid for groceries at Price Chopper in Ogdensburg.
The credit union surprised unsuspecting shoppers with $50 gift cards to help purchase groceries for their Thanksgiving dinners.
The gift cards were met with appreciation, lots of hugs, and even a few happy tears from recipients. Some explained this unexpected gesture truly helped as they were struggling with the holidays coming up.
This event is part of SeaComm’s Pay-It-Forward Program, which enables the credit union to deliver random acts of kindness throughout the communities they serve.
