Christopher J. Hatfield, 41, Union Springs, was charged with forcible touching, second-degree harassment, third-degree criminal mischief, and damaging property valued at $250 or more on July 8 at 11:39 p.m. at Canton Potsdam Hospital, 50 Leroy Street.
The charges are answerable in Potsdam Town Court on July 17.
Hatfield was arrested after patrols responded to CPH for a report of a hospital staff member being assaulted by an emergency room patient. While being processed at the Potsdam Police Department, Hatfield intentionally repeatedly kicked police property, causing damage.
