POTSDAM — A Potsdam woman was jailed following an alleged robbery on Market Street Sept. 4, according to state police.
Tina M. Hollister, 54, was charged Sept. 8 with second-degree robbery, second-degree menacing, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and fourth-degree grand larceny, officers said.
An investigation revealed Hollister displayed an imitation pistol and forcefully stole property from another person, officers said.
Hollister was arraigned by Justice Mason at Potsdam court and remanded to St. Lawrence County jail on $5,000 bail.
Police said an order of protection was issued.
Potsdam police were assisted by state police and SUNY Potsdam University Police.
Police said the investigation is ongoing.
