Phillips Memorial Home in Massena welcomes new employee

MASSENA – Phillips Memorial Home welcomes new employee and liaison, Maya Monroe. A San Diego, California native, where she attended high school at the San Diego Creative and Performing Arts where she minored in dance. She was also employed as a Career Service Advisor at DeVry University in San Jose, California. Having relocated to the North Country to raise her family and currently is studying to become a notary public. 

Monroe transitioned roles with Phillips Memorial Home from an administrative role to leading the monument design and sales department. She is dedicated to listening to the family’s needs, and creating personalized memorials that honor families' loved ones, and those that have also passed. 

As a liaison, she has been key to creating strong bonds with the community. Maya works under the tutelage of Patrick with Phillips Memorial Home, as she is also a part of St. Lawrence County Suicide Awareness Coalition. Phillips Memorial Home is honored to be partnering with Todd and JoAnn Mullin with the company, IRON MIND, honoring their son, Dylan Mullin, created by his brother Dalton Mullin, educating and raising awareness for suicide prevention.
