For the 15th year in a row, it did not rain on the Pets and Vets Golf Tournament!

The annual event funds Potsdam Humane Society’s free pets for veterans.

The tournament, held on June 7 at Partridge Run in Canton, was a success because of many generous sponsors and a wonderful bunch of people who love to golf with us. Thank you to the 88 golfers who participated.

PHS Board members worked behind the scenes in preparation for the event. Board members are all volunteers and work all year long to plan fundraisers like the golf tournament, and to make sure all funds brought in are used wisely for animal care.

Best Friends Thrift Shop on Route 56 (near Lowes) is operated exclusively by volunteers sending all profits to the operation of the Potsdam Animal Shelter. It’s a win, win! Get a bargain, and help the pets at the same time.
