Penny J. Elliot, 64, Heuvelton

HEUVELTON - Penny J. Elliott, age 64 of Heuvelton, a beloved and hard-working wife and mother, passed away on February 5, 2025, at the Claxton Hepburn Medical Center surrounded by her family.

She is survived by her husband, Ferron Elliott; her sons, Christopher Elliott and his fiancée Mikayla Fleming of Hammond, and Michael Elliott & his wife Charity of Pope Mills; her daughter, Alicia Ashley of Philadelphia; grandchildren Tyana and Baylee Elliott, Ayden Lipinsky, Taylor Ashley-Hernandez & her husband Eduardo, Parker, Michael, and Dylan Ashley, and Cali and Carter Elliott. Penny is also survived by her former daughter-in-law, Patricia Elliott of Ogdensburg; two brothers, LaFayette Young Jr. of Macomb and Tony Young of Ogdensburg; and two sisters, Melody Albert of Tucson, AZ, and Robin Young of Canton, NY.

She was predeceased by a brother, Kevin Young, and a sister, Tammy Petrie.
Penny was born on June 24, 1960, in Ogdensburg, NY, the daughter of LaFayette and Barbara (Henry) Young. She married Ferron Elliott on March 25, 1977.
She enjoyed a fulfilling career in waitressing and retail, but her most treasured role was being a stay-at-home mom to raise her children.  She enjoyed playing bingo, flower gardening, and spending time with her friends, children, and grandchildren.
